  • Grete Arro, PhD in Psychology (2014), works as a researcher in School of Educational Sciences in Tallinn University. Since 2006 she has worked in different longitudinal educational research projects in Tartu University and Tallinn University. Her research interests vary from self-regulated learning to conceptual change – more specifically, metacognitive learning skills, conceptual change, emotion regulation and motivation. She also lectures in Tallinn University (different subjects related to educational psychology) and occasionally trains teachers and teacher educators in other institutions. Her second research interest is environmental psychology with two main focus: environmental education and psychological aspects related to pro-environmental behaviour; and „livable cities“ – aspects of built environment that are related to well-being, health, and cognitive performance. Currently, most of her research grants and applications are related to environmental education. She also studies Biology and Biodiversity Conservation in Tartu University (first year of BA).
